The Associated Press McCaskill a No Vote if Health Care Bill Doesn't Save Money FOXNews One Democratic senator fighting for health care reform said Sunday she "absolutely" would vote against the health care bill being debated in the Senate if it increases out-of-pocket costs for people and drives up the debt.

This stance seems to be quite reasonable as long as it is willing to accommodate the possibility of a short term cost increase (if required) before savings are seen. Being that the bill is an attempt at reform, a lack of cost controls and ongoing containment isn’t sustainable health reform because it will not ensure continued access to insurance for all those who are having difficulty paying now or who will be receiving it for the first time.
